About Us

The Aero Cat crew is as different from conventional boat builders as our boats are different from the rest of the industry. Management is hands-on and are all craftsmen, skilled in every aspect of boat building. Two of the founders of the company have decades of experience in the restoration of vintage yachts. Yacht restoration requires a higher degree of skill and experience than building new boats. The rest of the crew are either journeymen carpenters, electricians or painters. There are no minimum wage workers doing repetitive work that can lead to mistakes, as is the case with conventional fiberglass laminations.

Our large modern facility operates like an old wooden boat shop. The difference of course is we cut and fit advanced composite materials to build the boats, in addition we offer custom cherry, mahogany and teak interiors. The level of craftsmanship and tools required, in our shop, is very similar to wooden boat construction. We hand-build our boats and offer numerous configurations for each size hull.

In summary, we are a group of highly skilled men and women who love boat building and take enormous pride in the fact that our catamarans are starting to be recognized all over the globe as one of the most competent boats available anywhere.
